He was the most beautiful baby she had ever seen. Sure, she was being biased, since he was her own. Even though his cries were deafening, she held her newborn close. He could fuss all he wanted, but she had no desire to let him go. Merry Christmas! I know I'm WAY late. Sweating a little...

I was actually working on a short story for Christmas, but I didn't finish it Ashamed

. Still, I wanted to put SOMETHING up for the holiday (besides, It's been perhaps a month since I submitted something, and I don't like being away for so long), so here is this acrostic poem I had written in high school and shared w/ my creative writing club. I remember someone telling me that they liked how I made Rudolf the red-nosed reindeer more "serious" since it was more of a kid's story. I had to change it, b/c I had spelled the name wrong. Anyway, I'll probably save what I was going to write for next Christmas.
